TAM Medialab LTD

Last Updated: March 2026

Welcome to TAM Medialab LTD (“Medialab,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We operate a programmatic Supply-Side Platform (SSP) that connects digital publishers with global advertising demand.

Transparency is at our core. This policy explains how we handle data within the digital advertising ecosystem, specifically through our OpenRTB (oRTB) integrations.

1. Our Role in the Ecosystem

Medialab acts as a Data Processor or Service Provider. We do not collect data directly from consumers. Instead, we receive bid requests from our “Supply Partners” (mobile apps, websites, or SDK-based mediation platforms) and pass that information to our “Demand Partners” (DSPs and Advertisers) to facilitate the real-time sale of advertising space.

2. Information We Process (The Bid Request)

When an ad space is available, our partners send us a “Bid Request.” This may contain the following technical identifiers:

  • Device Identifiers: Such as IDFA (iOS) or AAID (Android).
  • Technical Data: IP address, device type, operating system, and browser version.
  • Contextual Data: The name of the app or URL of the website where the ad will appear.
  • Approximate Location: Derived from IP addresses or passed via GPS (if the user has granted permission to the publisher).
  • User Consent Signals: IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) strings or CCPA “Do Not Sell” flags.

Important Note: We do not use cookies for tracking, nor do we maintain persistent consumer profiles. We process this data solely to facilitate a specific ad transaction.

3. How We Use This Information

We use the data provided in the oRTB string for the following “Business Purposes” only:

  1. Ad Delivery: Matching an advertiser’s bid to a publisher’s available space.
  2. Fraud Prevention: Identifying and blocking non-human traffic or malicious activity.
  3. Reporting & Analytics: Aggregating data to tell a publisher how many ads were served.
  4. Compliance: Respecting “Opt-out” or “Limit Ad Tracking” signals passed by the device.

4. Data Sharing & Transfers

As an SSP, our primary function is to share bid request data with our Demand Partners (DSPs).

  • International Transfers: Since Medialab is headquartered in Israel, we operate under an “Adequacy Decision” by the European Commission, ensuring a high level of data protection. Data may be processed on servers located in the US or EU depending on the location of our cloud infrastructure.
  • No Sale of Data: We do not sell personal information to data brokers. We only “share” data to fulfill the specific request of our publishers to monetize their inventory.

5. Data Retention

In line with industry standards for an oRTB provider, we do not retain the personal data found in bid requests for long-term use.

  • Real-time Processing: Most data is processed and discarded in milliseconds.
  • Server Logs: We may retain anonymized logs for up to 30 days solely for troubleshooting, security, and financial auditing purposes.

6. Children’s Privacy

Medialab does not knowingly process data from apps or websites directed at children (COPPA). We require our Supply Partners to flag any “Child-Directed” traffic so we can ensure it is handled according to strict regulatory requirements or blocked entirely.

7. Your Rights & Opt-Outs

Because we do not store your name or email, we cannot identify you personally. However, we honor all hardware-level and signal-level privacy choices:

  • Mobile Devices: Use “Limit Ad Tracking” (iOS) or “Opt out of Interest-Based Ads” (Android).
  • GDPR/CCPA: We honor the consent strings (TCF 2.2) passed to us by our publishers. If you withdraw consent on a publisher’s site, that signal is automatically passed to us and we cease processing for that session.
